Spring 2008 Trips You Don’t Want to Miss… ********************************************************************************************** May 5th– May 9th: Quest ‘08 A new program is being offered beginning Monday, May 5th through Friday, May 9th. Quest will include multiple outdoor adventure activities such as backpacking, rafting, mountain biking, camping, etc. The fee will be $125.00 which includes camping fees, biking/rafting fees and equipment. Sign up in Student Development & Co-Curricular Learning at 9 North College. Call 375-4950 for additional information. Registration is limited to 12 people. Check out the flier! Registration: To register for an outdoor trip come by the Office of Student Development & Co-Curricular Learning (9 North College Ave., across from West Hall) Monday—Friday 8a.m.— 4:30p.m. and pay the trip fee. Some trips fill us quickly so you are encouraged to sign up early. Trip fees are due upon registration. All trips have a sign-up deadline date. **********************************************************************************************
Pre-Trip Meetings: Most trips include a mandatory pre-trip meeting which is scheduled a few days prior to the trip. These meetings provide participants with information necessary to the safety and enjoyment of the activities. **********************************************************************************
Outdoor Adventure Center is OPEN! Monday—Thursday: 6—9p.m., Friday: 3—6p.m. The Outdoor Adventure Center (OAC) is open to students, faculty, and staff! The OAC has rental equipment and gear for backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, and camping. All fees are between $1-2. We also have information about places to go with friends, such as hiking trails and mountain biking courses. The OAC is located in the basement of Bowman Hall. Come down and see us sometime!
